| NEW DELHI:Petroleum minister Murli Deora launched a scheme powered by Contakt Tech which will enable consumers to book cooking gas by sending a text message from their mobile phones. The service will be initially available in the national capital and would be extended later. Customers of Indian Oil (IOC) and Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) will have to register their mobile phone number once by text messaging their local LPG distributor number and consumer number to 54625 and 52725 respectively. |
